How it’s Made: Your iPad 2

When we disassemble an iPad in order to repair it, we are always impressed by how well the iPad has been designed and assembled. Most of the space inside your iPad is taken up by the battery. All the processing power and memory is stored on a tiny circuit board. It is incredible how Apple have managed to fit so much into such a tiny space. If you are interested in seeing how your iPad was put together, you will enjoy this video from Marketplace.org:

As you will know, the iPad is a fairly heavy device and has a massive glass screen which does not take well to even the smallest drop. If gravity doesn’t happen to go your way and you break your iPad 1 or iPad 2 glass / screen, just give us a call. We’ll send a repair technician out to you and they will have your iPad screen back to new within 30 minutes.
