Frequently Asked Questions

Can you really come out to my home or office?

Absolutely. If you are in Johannesburg, Pretoria or Cape Town, we can save you hours of valuable time and come to you. One could say we are more in the logistics business than the repair business. We have a dedicated admin team that manages the technical team and makes sure they are on time and keeps clients up to date should there be an unexpected delay. This is a serious task considering the unpredictable traffic patterns in major cities in SA.We know you have important things to do and it’s a mission to drive around to get something fixed. (And that you are still irritated that your phone or tablet broke in the first place)We take all the frustration away from you. Our technicians sit in traffic so you don’t have to.We will have your device repaired faster than you believe possible, using only the best, original quality part. Most repairs and insurance assessments can be done on-site. We will let you know if it is a repair or assessment that needs to be done at one of our repair centres.

Great, but what if I live somewhere else in SA?

Not a problem. We will use a leading courier company to collect your device and return it to you once it’s been repaired. The typical turnaround time is only 3 working days from collection, depending on where you live.Delivery to us takes one working day from most areas in South Africa. If you live in Putsonderwater or a similar bustling metropolis in the middle of nowhere, it may take a day or two longer, but we will still get your repair done as fast as humanly possible, without sacrificing on the quality of your repair. We do a lot of work for clients who farm and don’t have a reputable repair centre nearby.Just contact us with your collection details and we’ll arrange the rest.

Tell me about your warranty

We only use the highest quality parts in our repairs, so we have an incredibly low part failure rate. However, if anything doesn’t work as expected, we will not leave you in the lurch. We stand behind the quality of our products, giving you a variety of warranty options. Even our shortest warranty is longer than most warranties offered by repair centres in SA.On our screen repairs, we have three different warranty options available: One year, two year and lifetime. The warranty does not cover physical or liquid damage. If, for some reason, a part becomes faulty within your warranty period, we will replace the part free of charge. If you are not in an area where we have a branch, we will pay for a courier service to collect the device and return it.

How do I pay?

You can pay by one of the following options, either at our store, or with our mobile technicians:1.  Debit or credit card – All of our technicians are armed with the latest mobile card machines from FNB and can accept all major credit and debit cards, anywhere that there is cellphone signal in SA.2. Once you are approved, just contact us and let us know which repair you need (and which warranty option you would like) and we will send you a payment link, which you can pay using your Mobicred account details.

When do I pay?

We don’t expect you to pay unless you are 110% satisfied with your repair. Once our technician has completed your repair, you can examine it and make sure we have done the fantastic job we promised to do.We operate strictly on a COD basis. We put a lot of effort into giving the best service and request that payment is made before our technician leaves or before you collect your repaired device. If your repair is being handled via courier, payment will need to be made before your device is sent back.

What are your working hours?

The techs get cranky when we make them work 20 hour days, so sadly we have to observe these working hours in order to keep them from mutiny:Monday to Friday: 9AM to 5:30PMSaturday: 9AM to 1PMSunday and public holidays: Closed

Where do you get your parts from?

As you probably already know (and it will tell you on the back of your phone, in tiny print), your device was made in China. We use a specialist partner in China that sources parts directly from the original factories. This way, we have full control of the supply channel and don’t have to reply on local suppliers, with wavering quality levels. We pay a premium for this service but it is worth it.Our clients trust us to only provide the best service and parts and we refuse to provide anything short of that.We stand behind the quality of our products, giving you a minimum of a one year warranty on all original quality screens used. There is always an option for a two year, or lifetime warranty. Historically, the lifetime warranty has been the warranty of choice amongst our discerning clients. And just because we can, here’s a nice note one of our favourite clients:“”I wish dealings elsewhere were as much a pleasure as doing business with you guys this afternoon! Smiling, happy, friendly and efficient … What more could one ask for? Thank you.” – TinaVisit our testimonials page to see some more feedback.
