Some people might say there is something wrong with us, but we are serious Apple fans and have been checking the net every single day to see if a date has been announced for the launch of the iPhone 6 in South Africa.

To date, no official date has been announced however a source close to the matter has unofficially told us that the launch is going to be on the 23th of October. Apparently the Vodacom outlets are gearing up and have already started training so they will be ready when the big day arrives.

Please remember this is not an official date – we might be completely wrong, however this date coincides with the iPhone 6 launch in India, something Apple in SA has done before.

Either way, we hope the launch is coming sooner than later. We can’t wait to get our hands on these shiny new babies. Our techs are ready to tear them apart and put them together again, so they are ready for when our first iPhone 6 screen repair comes in.
